Next on our list is the Nancy Creek trail and the Murphy Candler park loop. You can find this trail across from Marist on Ashford-Dunwoody Rd. I typically start at the Nancy Creek section of this trail where there is always parking.
This park of the run is mostly flat on a concrete path that winds through the park. Once you get to the north end of the trail, you will be on the sidewalk down Ashford-Dunwoody Road. This begins the downhill section of your run. There is a nice downhill grade on your route to Murphy Candler Park. Make sure to watch out for driveways and cross-streets here! Hang a right onto Nancy Creek a when you get to Murphy Candler Park, follow the trail next to the lake into the woods. This trail makes a loop around the lake and is nice and flat. The only uphill section is running back up to the Nancy Creek section of the trail.
Here is the official trail map for the Nancy Creek section of the trail.
I can’t find anything official on the Murphy Candler section, but if you have anything, let me know!
